New Jersey Board of Accountancy Continuing Professional Education Credits
Based on our understanding of the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy’s continuing professional education requirements, Sponsor No. 185, this course will qualify for six (6) continuing professional education credits in Specialized Knowledge.
American College of Healthcare Executives Continuing Education Credits
HFMA is authorized to award five (5) hours of pre-approved Category II (non-ACHE) continuing education credit for this program toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in this program wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward Category II credit should indicate their attendance when submitting application to the American College of Healthcare Executives for advancement or recertification.

Program Description:
Taught by leaders in the managed care field, these sessions will cover the following topics: Hot topics in Hospital Contracting, the RFP process from an insurance broker’s perspective, the impacts of out of network providers, shared risk arrangements between providers and insurers and integrated delivery systems. These sessions will provide an opportunity to encourage your team to grow by providing advanced topics in contracting, network development and organizational strategic management. A continental breakfast & lunch will be served.
Target Audience:
This course is for individuals with responsibility over Managed Care Reimbursement Operations at both payors and providers. The course is appropriate for Vice Presidents, Directors and Managers with oversight for Managed Care, Network Contracting, Medical Management, Patient Accounting, Budget, Reimbursement and Finance.

The course is designed to assist individuals to understand some of the latest developments in the insurance industry.
