The NJ HFMA Membership Committee has a new educational opportunity for your staff. We will be hosting two Seminars this year on payments for Medicaid and Charity Care.
Taught by healthcare professionals, these sessions will cover topics such as: History of Medicaid and the Charity Care program in New Jersey, how to apply for Medicaid and Charity care for your uninsured patients, how the reimbursement calculations work for these programs and the role that the Managed Medicaid insurers play in the State. These sessions will provide an opportunity to encourage your team to grow by gaining a broader understanding of how these programs affect your organization which will become more important in these tough economic times.
